Here's what I bought in Japan! The street style over there is my absolute dream so I went a bit crazy shopping in Harajuku, Tokyo, Shibuya & Osaka. Subscribe for more - http://bit.ly/1vNpDRe

Some of my top places for shopping were;
Hep5 - This was like a better version of Shibuya 109 imo (at least if you're more into mens/streetwear) There's also cafe's and non clothing stores like a Disney and Jump shop. + there's a ferris wheel on top of the building which was awesome to look over Osaka at night.
Orange Street - This street was amazing for vintage shopping!! Make sure you pay attention to any little signs because often stores are tucked away up and down stairs! Some of the side streets also have some good finds so just be on the look out for anything that catches your eye. This was one of my favourite spots - highly recommend!
In Tokyo -
Harajuku - Personally I found Takeshita Street too busy. It was definitely worth a look but if you get anxiety in crowds it's not the best spot for you. We spent time just wondering around, getting lost which lead us to some cool stores. I'm not sure of the street name but whatever road has the opening ceremony store is definitely worth a look! Tons of great shops a long there, make sure you check some of the side alleys as well! What I assume is the 'main road' has stores worth a look too - there's a good WeGo that wasn't so busy and a massive thrift store just near the Line Friends flagship shop where you can get a bunch of bt21 goodies! Honestly just roam everywhere in this area and people watch because everyone's style is incredible!!
Shibuya - Shibuya 109 is definitely worth a visit, there's some really unique stores in there and there's a lot to look at. If you're in the mood to shop you could probably spend quite a long time here! Of course there's a lot of shopping to do just in the general area as well. The Disney store there is also really beautiful. I loved Tower Records too! Both times we went there, there happened to be a performance on.
Shimokitazawa - This area has a TON of vintage stores packed in, for the most part they stock fairly similar styles but it's crazy to see the quantity and quality of second hand over there! No specific recommendations, again you really just have to explore the area.
Akihabara - This is where I picked up any anime merch but I'm sure if you're into anime you are already well aware of this area!
Ahh I think those are the main shopping spots I'd recommend! Sorry it's a bit wordy, but hopefully it's helpful for any of you travelling to Japan soon :)

The “I wear therefore I am” could be a play on word for the philosopher Descartes famous saying “I think therefore I am” “Cognito ergo sum” which basically means that he can think therefore his soul exists as he can question it, whereas his body may not be real and a deception of the physical world.
I love how unisex she is it makes other people more comfortable with what they are wearing. I love all the pieces and I don’t know how she pulls all this off it’s incredible!! I’m in awe I literally need all these clothes sooo cute!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
you should really look into the history of x-girl. It was started by Kim Gordon (of Sonic Youth) in the 90s and it debuted as a gorilla fashion show during NYFW and Chloe Sevigny walked it. Kim doesn't own it anymore, I think, but they do really cool collabs!!
X-girl is Kim Gordon’s brand she started in the 90s!! The bassist from sonic youth. You should check out the history and early branding! She also talks about it in her book. Super cool. Wish I could afford 😭
Ahh thanks for the info, I'm going to look into it now because the brand honestly seemed so cool!! I wouldn't usually spend that much but for some reason when I'm on holiday I just lose all self control 😩 haha
My husband loves NWJP, He owns the same shirt! He really likes Naito. We watched Wrestle Kingdom last year and the year before that at Tokyo Dome. (not a wrestling fan but it was entertaining)& I vlogged our experience~
Katie i love that you use so much color! Can you make a video about how to include color and patterns in your outfits without looking childish? I sometimes feel that when i want to include colors in my outfits i look younger and are not taken serious in a way. Do you get me?? Anyhow lots of love from sweden 💓💓
i just wanted to say i don’t go on youtube to watch many fashion or makeup gurus anymore when i would spend hours just watching them but i absolutely love your channel and get excited to see your videos and i love your personality :-)
and the fact that you love bts hehe
Thank you so much! This really means a lot to me because I know what you mean, I used to watch so many beauty/style channels but now I only stick to my couple of favourites 💓 and omg yes bts is life, I literally look for an excuse to mention them whenever I can hahaha
Ahhh I love this! My boyfriend and I came back from Japan less than a week ago and honestly it was the most amazing place. I felt so at home there and now Australia feels so weird. I’m loving your Japan finds! Kind of Harajuku inspired and I love it! 😍
peep at your tata socks !! (': also I know you're into bts but I'd really recommend for you to check out day6 and the rose's music if you haven't! they're more like korean indie pop/rock bands than a performance/dance group but I LOVEE their music and their members !!
Hehe my favourite socks by far 😇 omg I just discovered the rose last week and love them! I'm looking to get into more groups, bands and solo artists so all recommendations are welcome! Going to check out day6 now 😘
this video really made me realise how much your style has really changed and developed over time!! i've been following your videos since 2014 and i remember you were really super into 60s and 70s festival/boho (the flares haha) and slowly but surely you've become so much edgier and experimental with your fashion which i adore so much!! your outfits have been so killer lately and i can really appreciate the growth of your style as if my fashion is evolving with yours!! i feel like you are one of the youtubers whose videos I will always love watching, especially because we are both brisvegas girls and even more so now since you became ARMY!! keep doing you katie 💖
StealTheSpotlight looove to hear that you feel so much more comfortable and more you with what you wear now, thats 99% of what fashion should be!! and yess catch me in your DMs next time they break records or announce aus tour dates (like plz bighit) 💓💖
Omg! Thank you so much for sticking with me over the years! My style has changed so much since those days haha I feel so much more comfortable with who I am and what I wear these days and it's so cool to think people have been able to grow with me!! 💓 Also i have no fellow Brisbane ARMY friends so please feel free to hit me up on IG to chat about the boys ahaha
Ahh so excited for you, you'll have an amazing time!! Pretty much everything caters to petite sizes and vintage prices varied from $30-70aud depending on the type of clothing. Some stores that we're less curated and more thrifty were cheaper though 😊 My suitcase was only 8kg on the way over and 27kg on the way home haha
w/ clothing i'm a 12-14 and was wondering whether their clothing is made for more petite sizes?? did you make room for all your clothes or just bring a whole new suitcase? & how much was the average item of second hand clothing? <3 u
I love how dedicated you are in making your videos, they’re always so detailed... you have originality, editing skills, incredible fashion sense and plus you’re so nice and fun! ily girl, keep going 💜💜
Love your style! Thank you for sharing your trip to Japan! I know how you feel when you said that you felt really in your element there. I love styling myself and I prefer to be in an environment that is full of self-expressed people. So much more fun!
I didn't vlog sorry 😭 just wanted to enjoy the trip and not stress about getting footage! But omg you are going to have the best time!!! Some of the things I did were the light museum, Tokyo Disney, universal studios, Osaka castle, meiji shrine, inari gates, njpw show, Nara park, and just a lot of walking around exploring so you can discover cool places to eat and shop 😊😊 oh also see of you can go to the Ghibli museum, it was sadly shut while I was there
@StealTheSpotlight he admits they're trash now. LOL i'm a Cavs fan. we are so bad now. I feel him. hahaha oh no that sucks. i got to go by some miracle but had to drive to Canada to see them T_T I heard Monsta X might go to Australia next year. you should see them! they're one of my faves besides BTS. very dark and dare i say sexy
This article has been motivated by a response I gave to a problem raised on an Oracle developer forum. Our requirement is to produce a report that details customer spending for each month of the year. Our database only records actual spend, so for any given month, data for dormant or idle customers will have to be generated.
First, well create a mock CUSTOMER_ORDERS table with sparse data to represent customer spending. To keep the example simple, well denormalise the customer name onto the orders table.
a sparse report.
With our customer orders data as sparse as it is, a monthly report for purchases by customer would look as follows.
adding the missing months.
We can see from the data that we are missing most months of the year for our two customers. Remember that our requirement is to show a report for every month in 2004 for every customer. First we will build a "time dimension" set (using subquery factoring) and outer join it to our orders table.
We can see that this hasnt quite worked. We have the zero sums and the year-months, but we are missing customer names. This is because we outer joined to CUSTOMER_ORDERS on the year-months, so any customer columns would show as NULL for deficient rows. Until PARTITION OUTER JOIN appeared in Oracle 10g, we couldnt "invent" data easily , though the next section shows that it is possible in prior versions.
data-densification without partition outer join.
