Check out Loren Hope. She may be the most talented designer in the country right now. Very artistic and all made in America. Also, a few of the brands you mentioned are private label brands and not real people. Check out Loren Hope though, one of my favorites.
I have a robert Larin pewter necklace worth over $2000 and I paid $2.99 at a thrift store in Canada I thought it could be silver but it tests as not silver also over 400 grams of all karats of gold in January 2019 alone I know some amazing costume jewellery valuables I consider sherman coro and most cheap antiques low grade and resell them I currently have over 100,000 pcs forsale in canada for $500 I would take $100 if you are in canada it weighs over 1000 pounds I collect gemstones I bought a massive alexanderite 28 carats but I think its synthetic still worth $7500 I payed $3.99 and it came with a few gold pendants one with a big nephrite cabochaun I basically get every single nice piece of jewellery in my city at both thrift stores I have over 100 pounds of natural stone over 3 kilos of natural pearl piles of silver and crazy amounts of real loose emerald sapphire ruby. Also a 175 carat boulder opal it in a pizza slice shape I usually scrap most gold to get more silver and keep all gemstones I have even bought diamonds for $5.99 at 0.3 cts and a p900 platinum necklace with 5 small diamonds also a few years ago I bought $10,300 in gold from a yard sale for $10.25
@Ice and Kandi also i have a life I have a better life then most I live in a million dollar house and hoard rare items I actually have to throw away and donate and give away thousands of items very soon maybe even this weekend I just paid $9.99 for a farragamo belt that is worth $1400 canadian today because the jewellery was not valuable that was put out today and I am going to sell the belt for only $80 I also sold the 30 point diamond for $45 and the buyer was happy I don't value diamonds unless they are turned into tools or are coloured stone like blue or pink red diamond is so rare I will never get any there are only 22 red diamonds in the world that are cut
@Ice and Kandi I'm just saying there are good items in thrift stores nobody knows about that I have seen people notice gold and say that they don't believe a thrift store could sell gold but they do....and I get gold almost every day about 80 grams for under $75 in the past 2 weeks why would I sell my best items I do sell alot of gold and silver but never gemstones I have better gemstones then millionaire jewellery collectors because I am good at locating rare items I looked at the videos you have collected on your page and one Playlist is about thrifting so why do you say I am delusional maybe you do not like that a man can get really lucky from nothing spent at a thrift store are you mananizer??? Or someome that hates men???
@Ice and Kandi what is delusional I do not hallucinate and what I said is 100% factual I have over 35 pounds of rare gemstones on myself at all times I just had 3 pcs of grandiderite appraised at $125,000 canadian dollars with only 6.15 carats total weight I am not delusional and I assume you are just jealous ....actually it shows greatly...
This is so sad but true I saw a sale were a lady came while I was shopping and picked up a create full to the top w/ jewerly I asked could I look at some and the mananger told me no! That she had sold it to the customer for $250 but I could get the same deal just ask I felt so betrayed "This was 12/2018
Can you do a video on what looks like high end and obviously old vintage peice but there is no makers mark..what do we do with those types of peices as far as listing price..i have a great bracelet, if it had a makers mark im sure it would fetch alot but it has no mark. I dont want to just sell it for cheap i can tell its worth $$.. your thoughts on that would be great.. thank u
My 10 year old daughter picked up a box of vintage costume jewelry for $.50 yesterday. We are not familiar with brands. There is a few pieces that say Roman, Lisner, and L.H. Segal. Our local jeweler said not to sell on Ebay, we would pay too many fees. I don't know anything about it. Can anyone offer some advice?
I have a 1934 vintage jewelry set of BA Ballou. The earrings have the patent # the necklace has the hallmark on the clasp. There are 13 stones, rubies? The gold is not magnetic. I researched, thus how I found out the information. A man by the name of Moorehouse did the design & patent for Ballou on the earrings. I can not find anyone to appraise this set. I'm not willing to send it off to be appraised. I live in a small rural community. Any advice or input would be great. Thank you. [email protected]
Just found you via Ropin' Reseller and so glad I did. Like her you get to the point quickly and award us with lots of info in a short amount of time. I haven't sold much jewelry yet but plan to. This video was very helpful. Thanks so much!
Hopefully Margaret, the Goodwill stores down your way will continue setting up jars. I have been told on several occasions they are selling all their jewelry at shopgoodwill.com and they are selling it by bulk, and from what I have seen it's all about greed with the Goodwill. Don't want to cause an uproar, I know they do good for all intent and purposes. But they have been bringing more and more "new" things. And charging more that Dollar General would charge for the same thing. They have lost the way..... they have taken a lot of fun out of shopping there.... it is supposed to be a thrift store where folks can go and buy what they need on the "cheap" before long it will be furniture only and everything else will be dropped off at a "Donation Express" long winded I know , but thought you should know that the GW jewelry jars will soon be going by way of the dionsaur.
Yep we need to cut the head off the dragon before it gets worse. Who's with me? People donate to Goodwill to help those in the community not for Good will to get more Rich! They already make enough profit.
This article has been motivated by a response I gave to a problem raised on an Oracle developer forum. Our requirement is to produce a report that details customer spending for each month of the year. Our database only records actual spend, so for any given month, data for dormant or idle customers will have to be generated.
First, well create a mock CUSTOMER_ORDERS table with sparse data to represent customer spending. To keep the example simple, well denormalise the customer name onto the orders table.
a sparse report.
With our customer orders data as sparse as it is, a monthly report for purchases by customer would look as follows.
adding the missing months.
We can see from the data that we are missing most months of the year for our two customers. Remember that our requirement is to show a report for every month in 2004 for every customer. First we will build a "time dimension" set (using subquery factoring) and outer join it to our orders table.
We can see that this hasnt quite worked. We have the zero sums and the year-months, but we are missing customer names. This is because we outer joined to CUSTOMER_ORDERS on the year-months, so any customer columns would show as NULL for deficient rows. Until PARTITION OUTER JOIN appeared in Oracle 10g, we couldnt "invent" data easily , though the next section shows that it is possible in prior versions.
data-densification without partition outer join.
