so if you plan on doing fba, is adding the money back guarantee on the key product features enough? is it not something that should be cleared with amazon beforehand? if a costumer returns a product will it be sent to me directly or to amazon? so many questions that come with it imo, that i feel like just adding the text isnt enough
I have a question about the bar code. let say I ask my supplier from Alibaba to send the inventory directly to the amazon warehouse, are they the one who responsible of printing the bar code and stick it to my product? or I can ask amazon to print the bar code and stick it to my product?
fantastic video. Thank you for posting. Just wondering about the logistics of sending products to the fulfillment centers in the US. like you I am Canadian and like to know how i cam send my products to the US fulfillment centers.
I am located in Canada however you have indicated that the best market to begin is amazon.com. I have paid to have the products shipped to Canada from China, now I will have to ship to US, will I pay duties etc?
hello I have a question, do we need to set up an account before buying the products from the supplier? And how do we know the address of the Amazon's fulfillment centre? thanks for sharing this video, I learnt a lot from you!
hi Stefan, about the UPC barcodes from speedy or other websites that are not GS1, have you seen the new rules of amazon saying that you "are recommended" to buy directly from GS1 and have the barcode registered to your company because the other ones are being reused? The only problem for a fba starter is that the GS1 barcodes are very expensive and you have to register them to your company, so some one starting may not have a LLC yet. What is your point on this one?
Is it possible to buy the UPC code just to create a listing on amazon than directly ship the goods from supplier straight to customer straight away via drop shipping without ordering the products and labeling before sending to amazon for FBA?
I'm thinking about doing the shipping myself, just to start with and saving some money. Cause I'm not gonna have that much of orders I think. Till I see it's going very well, can I then change it and let Amazon ship if for me?
Thank you for the video. Very informative. I am also in Canada and there are a few thing I can't seem to find info for. I want to make sure I am more informed before starting my account. If I were to ship FBM, do I get the same rates from UPS? I'm choosing this for now because I am worried about the storage fees from Amazon if an item doesn't sell. I will of course watch all your videos and the answer may be in there but this came to mind and I'm happy to have found someone that is also in Canada. Thanks in advance.
Very helpful, thanks. 2 quick questions: 1-can one send products from overseas and use the UPS to Amazone related service? 2-does one need to have a bank account in the USA for sales in the USA or will profits automatically added to your credit card account wherever that may be?
That was my question too. I have a 100 units to receive from China and send to Amazon fulfillment center. Btw I work there lol
Stefan, if you have a chance please make another video about the next step... How to print and put the barcode on the products etc. Thank you so much! I love your channel! Such a great help!
Hey! Thanks for the informative video. Just wanted to ask about the barcode. Do you need to pay for a barcode for EACH product, or is it a barcode for each type of product? It seems like it can be quite pricey to purchase barcode for every product you are selling (for example 10 packets of sweets which requires me to buy 10 barcodes?)
You need one barcode for each reference you sell. If you sell white t-shirts you need 1 barcode that you will use for all these white t-shirts. If you sell white and red t-shirt you need a barcode for the white and a barcode for the red. If you a sell a bundle of "white + red t-shirt" then you need a barcode for the bundle.
I m from Nigeria and i thank you for this video and my main problem is that, when i register as professional with $399.9 is that money for my registration as a seller on amazon?secondly or if i m buying and selling on amazon for an item i have to pay another fee for the item i bought and i want to sell before amazon will sell it to me...3.and how can i get my money if the item is sold are they sending the money to my account?. thanks
Thanks for very helpful videos. The question I have is not exactly on point with this specific video, but maybe you could help. Could you tell me how can I register the company, brand in the USA when I'm not from the United States? I'm from Georgia.
Thank you for this great tutorial on setting up a seller account at Amazon! Can you tell me how many units of a product one is selling does one need to ship to Amazons fulfillment center? If I'm selling one model of say a coffee mug, is there a minimum number that Amazon requires I stock in their warehouse for customers? Thanks again!
Thank you! Also, could I start with an individual account and then upgrade to business one once I see what I'm doing and that I can make money with this? I'm looking forward to checking out your site ProjectLifeMastery.com
Hi Stefan, Thank you very much for the video. It is a great and simple video for the beginners. I have a simple question. Do I need to get business LLC or can I start without it? I just see people get it before they start their business for Amazon and Ebay. May you tell me something about it? I just do not have clean idea. Thank you so much for the time.
Hi Stefan, I am looking for someone to design (set up) my Amazon seller page so that it is optimized for converting. Is this a service that you offer? Or are you familiar with anyone who offers this service?
hi Stefan, 1 simple question, if your product doesnt sell, for how long Amazon keeps your product and how much does it cost ? i mean if you cant sell after a period of time will Amazon ask you a fee for holding it
Hey Stefan, this was helpful and all except I was thrown because "Add a Product" is not an option under my inventory. The only option I have is Add Product via upload and that is a huge mess of confusion. Do you have a video concerning that method or can you make one?
Hi stefan great video ihave a question? how do you open an amazon account in us since you live in canada. Please tell us the process. You need a US tax no. What type? An address and a phone? Thank you great help
This article has been motivated by a response I gave to a problem raised on an Oracle developer forum. Our requirement is to produce a report that details customer spending for each month of the year. Our database only records actual spend, so for any given month, data for dormant or idle customers will have to be generated.
First, well create a mock CUSTOMER_ORDERS table with sparse data to represent customer spending. To keep the example simple, well denormalise the customer name onto the orders table.
a sparse report.
With our customer orders data as sparse as it is, a monthly report for purchases by customer would look as follows.
adding the missing months.
We can see from the data that we are missing most months of the year for our two customers. Remember that our requirement is to show a report for every month in 2004 for every customer. First we will build a "time dimension" set (using subquery factoring) and outer join it to our orders table.
We can see that this hasnt quite worked. We have the zero sums and the year-months, but we are missing customer names. This is because we outer joined to CUSTOMER_ORDERS on the year-months, so any customer columns would show as NULL for deficient rows. Until PARTITION OUTER JOIN appeared in Oracle 10g, we couldnt "invent" data easily , though the next section shows that it is possible in prior versions.
data-densification without partition outer join.
